작품 제목: 진행 (1)진행 김영원 http://www.busanbiennale.org/sub01/05_fix.php?no=591amp;cat_no=666amp;seq=101210amp;type=2amp;year=2002amp;type2=3amp;type3=amp;page=1진행인체의 사실적인표현과정신성의 결합능력에서 매우뛰어나다는 평가를 받아온작가는, 인체를 단지자연주의나사실주의의 관점에서 보지않고, 삶의 과정에서 변화하는 신체적인 변화과정을 통하여 영적인 변화과정을 보여주려 한다. 특히 이 작품은 물리적인 변화와 정신적인 상관관계를 조형적으로 나타내고 있는 점을 특징으로 한다.1아시아드조각광장일부를 잔디광장으로 조성하여 설치될 이 작품은, 자연에서 태어나 성장하다 다시 자연으로 되돌아가는 인생무상의 순화철학을 표현하기 위해서 점차 변모하는 5개의 인물상으로 구성된다. 일종의 과정미술(Process Art)인 이 작품은 현대적인 시간보다‘과거-현재-미래’를이어가면서은유적인 물음으로 이끈다. 바꾸어 말해서 우리의존재의미를끝없이 되묻는순환의 논리가 숨어있다. He does not look at the human bodies from the naturalistic or realistic points of view but rather tries to show the process of the spiritual change through the process of the physical change brought about in the process of life. Especially, this work is characterized by the modeling of the relation between the physical change and the spiritual situation. This work, which will be installed in the grass part of the Asiad Sculpture Plaza, is composed of 5 figures changing gradually to express the philosophy of cycle dealing with the transience of human life, where humans are born and grow up in the nature and go back to the nature. This is a kind of process art and rather than dealing with the present time, it raises metaphorical questions by connecting the past, present and future.
