큰 구름 (1) 하시모토 요시미 http://www.busanbiennale.org/sub01/05_fix.php?no=606amp;cat_no=666amp;seq=101210amp;type=2amp;year=2002amp;type2=3amp;type3=amp;page=3큰 구름아시아와 유럽을 오가며 활동하는 그는 초기에 동양적 사상을 담은 투조형식의 석조각을 많이 발표하였다. 이들가운데서도 1977년 성 벤델 심포지엄에서 발표한 18M의 대작은 당시 전 유럽의 석조각계에 깊은 인상을 남겼다. 그 후로도 세계 여러 나라의 심포지엄과 국제아트페어의 개인전을 통하여 구상과 추상을 자유자재로 구상할 수 있는 석조전문가로 인정받았다. 그런데 최근에는 기존의 석조제작법을 탈피하여 돌이나 물성의 개념을 뛰어넘는 지극히 환상적인 기법에 몰두하고 있다. 구름을 주제로 한 시리즈 작품이 대표작으로 꼽히는데, 이는 석조조각에 대한 새로운 방향을 제시하였다는 점에서 매우 주목받고 있다. 아시아드조각광장에 7덩어리의 돌들은 서로 맞물려 포개져 있다. 마치 징검다리 같기도 한 이 돌들 가운데 어느 것은 움직이는 키네틱 아트의 개념까지 도입되었다는점에서 흥미롭다.
