The angular, cold surface texture of the pillar with a pyramid-shaped top contrasts with the gentle and warm surface texture of the botanical figures. The juxtaposition of the geometric lines and the natural lines like this reminds us of the balance and harmony between men and nature and the one between civilization and nature.
