p;cat_no=1002 amp;seq=101410 amp;type=2 amp;year=2006 amp;type2=3 amp;type3= amp;page=2열린 집인간의 손, 혹은 서양인들이 식사할 때 사용하는 포크(fork)를 변주한 듯한 이 작품은 6미터 높이로 철판을 이어 붙여 만들어졌다. 일정한 시간까지 산화하다가 어느 시간에 그 산화가 멈추는 특수한 철판(corten steel)을 사용하여, 철의 ‘산화’하는 성격 자체를 작품의 한 요소로 이용하고 있다. 단순한 듯한 형태지만, 실은 매우 미묘한 곡선의 변화로 보는 각도에 따라 그 모습이 무한히 변하고 있다. 그의 작품은 거대한 철 자체의 물질감과 함께, 예기치 못한 장소에서 갑작스럽게 상승하는 느낌을 준다. 그러나 자세히 볼 것 같으면 단순하면서도 섬세한 형태의 변화로 관객의 눈길을 사로잡는다. This work is also made up of these three elements. While ordinary houses usually stand vertically, this work is made with gentle curved lines. The shape of this work, a six-meter tall steel structure appears to be simple but actually changes infinitely, according to the optic angle. By the use of special steel, corten steel, oxidation goes on for a certain period of time and stops in a moment naturally.
