작품 제목: 다리(Bridge) (1)다리리후이http://www.busanbiennale.org/sub01/05_fix.php?no=4979amp;cat_no=1002amp;seq=101410amp;type=2amp;year=2006amp;type2=3amp;type3=amp;page=1다리중국작가 리후이는 두 개의 기둥 위에 얹은 항공모함 두 대를 다리모양으로 만들었다. 스텐인레스 스틸 철판으로 정교하게 만들어진 항공모함은 서로 정면을 마주보며 충돌하여 앞부분이 부서진 상태로 각각의 기둥에 고정되어 있다. 리후이는 한국이 분단 상황에 있다는 점을 염두에 두고 이 작품을 제작했으며, 통일이 되면 다시 방문해서 부러진 부분을 이어 하나의 배 모양으로 만들 계획이다. 한국의 분단상황과 통일에의 염원을 배와 다리로 비유해 표현하고 있다. 최근 주목을 받고 있는 중국의 신진작가로 특히 과학과 기계와 미술의 결합을 시도하는 작품으로 유명하다. The carriers, which face each other, are made from stainless steel plates. Because the ships clash with each other, the front part of each is broken and fixed to its own pillar. The composition represents Korea as a divided country. When the country is re-united, the artist wants to visit Korea again to put back the broken part of each carrier, thus making one ship.
